This walkthrough covers resolving Solara errors for Roblox gamers utilizing the Solara executor on Windows. Revised for 2026 alongside the newest Solara download (v0.1.7c).
When you double-click solara.exe and nothing happens, or it shuts down right after opening, a required dependency is almost certainly missing.
1. Lacking Visual C++ Redistributable
Solara was developed using C++. Should your Windows machine lack the newest Visual C++ Redistributable, the executor will crash at launch. Grab it directly from the official Microsoft website here.
2. Lacking .NET Runtime
The Solara interface relies upon .NET. Without it present, the UI cannot launch. Download the .NET Desktop Runtime here.
Important: After installing BOTH of these runtimes, reboot your PC. Do not merely exit the installer; perform a full system reboot.
3. Damaged Files
Should the runtimes already be present, your ZIP archive may have been damaged while downloading. Remove your Solara folder and download the file again from above.
